PRA Needs An Editor for the Pedigrees

As you know from my recent announcement, Colleen Blizard is resigning as the Editor of the Pennington Pedigrees after the publication of the Fall 2009 Pedigrees.

The PRA needs a willing volunteer to step forward and become the new Editor of the Pennington Pedigrees. This is one of the most, if not the most, important jobs in the PRA. The Pedigrees has been published since our beginnings. It is the VOICE of the PRA and the thousands of researchers and PRA Members who wish to share their family history, stories and pictures.

Without an Editor, the Pedigrees will not be published. This would be a tremendous setback for the PRA and our Members. Without the Pedigrees, the PRA will lose our most important method to share information with other Pennington family researchers and "cousins" throughout the world.

Currently there is one Assistant Editor to help with some of the tasks in publishing the Pedigrees but the more Assistant Editors, the better. If a few of you are willing to become Assistant Editors, the job of Editor will be that much better.
